Sonax Saxophone Quartet Parlor Concert

Sonax is an ensemble formed in 2017 with the goal of sharing and celebrating the rich chamber music repertoire for saxophone, including works from the inception of the saxophone quartet in the 19th century to new compositions that seek to further capitalize on the full expressive potential of the instrument.  Members include Ohio University faculty and alumni saxophonists Jordan Carinelli, Andrew Meyer, Jordan Reed and Matthew James.  The group has performed at Marshall University, Ohio University, Marietta College, and is featured in a recording with the OU Wind Symphony on its 2019 release, Ampersand.
